Bajaj Pulsar 200ns review
Finally after 10 years Bajaj has launched all new Pulsar 200ns. Here is we are posting detailed review about this machine just check it out.....
LOOKS:
The all new pulsar200ns is a great looking bike. Any one should fall in love with its first look.Basically in design department Bajaj has done great work. They know good looks does major part in your success.
HEAD LIGHT:
Head Light is sharply designed and it adds sporty looks to bike. Head Light is looks like Bumble bee character from transformer film. Pilot lamps are also neatly designed and two lights at downside of main head light is killer. Indicaters are also placed on head light that also looks good. Over all design of Head Light is best and it adds sporty characteristic to bike.
Fuel Tank:
Fuel Tank of Bajaj Pulsar 200 is broad it is much sportier than old pulsars. The 3D logo of pulsar is placed on both side of fuel tank. In case of design bajaj has done good job with tank also but they can also do better.
Fuel tank has capacity of 12ltrs.
Seating Position:
Seating position of Bajaj Pulsar 200ns is very comfortable. The rider seat is upright placed with great comfort for long drives. It also has step up seat which makes bike more sporty.
Rear of Bike:
The rear of Bajaj Pulsar is identical to its sibling pulsar 135 but it looks far better than that.
Tail lights are also looks good and maintain the sporty nature of bike.
The nude rear looks great and proves that it is real NAKED SPORT bike.
Overall for design department hats off to Bajaj.
PERFORMANCE:
Bajaj Pulsar 200ns has 199.5cc SOHC,Triple Spark, 4 valve Liquid cooled Engine. It produces 23bhp@9500rpm power. and 18.3Nm@800rpm Torque.
It has 6speed gear box 6th gear is for Highway.
For first time Bajaj has used triple spark here but is it necessary??? or it is just marketing idea??
to this question answer is because of triple spark combustion rate is increased and that result in more power and more mileage and also more heat from engine. Some of owner of this machine has reported that engine is getting heated too early there is only solution is liquid cooling system have work honestly.
SPEED:
Top Speed 136 kph
0-60 kph 3.61 sec
0-100 kph 9.83 sec
Suspension and Brakes:
Rear suspension - Nitrox Mono Shock Absorber with piggy back gas canister
For first time Bajaj has used Nitrox suspension which is good and works better.
230mm front petal disc brake with floating calliper
230mm rear petal disc brake with floating calliper
The bike’s brakes are decent and solid. At the front Pulsar 200NS is equipped with 280mm disc brakes, and at the rear 230mm disc brakes. The bike’s braking distance from 60 to 0 kmph is 16.33 metres. The brakes perform well: a soft initial bite is driver-friendly, but the power comes into force with a harder squeeze, and when used the rear disc allows a significant degree of travel, making it easy to modulate its pressure.
Mileage:
Basically Bajaj is known for their Fuel Efficient bikes. Bajaj Pulsar 200ns also fuel efficient bike company has stated that it will return upto 58kmpl but in city condition it is getting 48-50kmpl we can expect more on highway.
Price:
85000rs(Delhi Ex.Showroom).
Final Verdict:
It is truly value for money bike. It has good performance, Strong and SPORTY body and killer looks with good fuel efficiency..........
