TVS Electric Scooter will launch by 25 January 2020

          TVS electric scooter will be launched on 25th January 2020. As Bajaj has launched their ambitious Chetak electric scooter in Market recently. Therefore TVS also announced to launch their first ever electric scooter in market by 25th January.

        TVS has shared teaser video of their electric scooter on social media platforms. By lunching electric scooter TVS wants to complete their portfolio as like Bajaj did. TVS had showcased TVS Creon Electric scooter in Auto Expo 2018 but this electric scooter will be either TVS Jupitor or TVS Ntorq in electric avatar.
       TVS electric scooter expected to come with 3kW lithium-ion battery with range around 100 kilometers. As sources reported this scooter will come with detachable battery which can be charged within 3 to 4 hours. This scooter will  sport Eco and Sport mode to utilize battery in more effective way. If we believe in TVS Racing DNA then top speed of electric scooter would be around 100kph.
    All big brands entering in electric scooter market is very good but no one seems to address high cost low range of electric scooter. As still we do not have effective infrastructure for electric bikes and cars in India. Indian government has to take some more initiative to increase number of charging stations across country then and then we can see good number of sales of electric scooter, Bike and cars.
    Lithium Ion batteries are one of major factor that is causing high cost of electric vehicles which is aslo need to be addressed if we want to enjoy success of EV's in India.
